Additional Information: These are 5 quart sharps containers for the safe disposal of needles and syringes. They are made from puncture and impact resistant plastic. These containers are compatible with popular 5 quart cabinet systems and can be used to safely dispose of needles, needles with syringes, vacutainers, or with attached tubing, pen needles, lancets, blades (razors, scalpels, etc.), pipettes, and glass slides.

The transparent bucket allows the fill level to be viewed. The lid is counterbalanced, providing temporary closure between uses for safety. When the container is full, snap locks permanently lock the lid for final disposal. The horizontal drop provides easy access to the large counterbalanced opening and maximizes usable container volume while also providing a space saving option for totes, carts, and workspaces. A built-in needle removal port is designed to prevent contact with sharps and prevent accidental sticks and pokes.

Disposal instructions for full containers are included. The item is safe to autoclave or incinerate.

This product is reviewed and approved directly by the FDA and meets or exceeds standards, including OSHA and EPA requirements for local biohazard waste collection. It is also CDC approved. This product is made in the USA.
