Additional Information: This mat features a diamond pattern and has an oval at one end to create a "grand" entrance. The bi-level surface effectively scrapes dirt and moisture from shoes, trapping it below shoe level to prevent tracking, while the water dam border keeps moisture off of the floors; the mat can hold up to 1 1/2 gallons of water per square yard.

The surface is made from needle-punched solution-dyed PET fabric (30 ounces/square yard) that is made from at least 90% recycled content reclaimed from plastic; it resists staining, dries quickly, and won't fade or rot. The backing is SBR rubber containing 20% recycled rubber from car tires. Reinforced rubber nubs on the mat prevent the pile from crushing, extending the performance life of the mat.

The edges of this mat are beveled to provide a safe transition from floor to mat, and the mat is certified high traction by the National Floor Safety Institute (NFSI). This mat also passes CPSC FF 1-70 for the surface flammability of carpets.
