Senior Ruby on Rails Developer

Summary:

This position can be performed remotely. This job will involve upgrading a Rails 2.3.8 to Rails 7.

Experience:

Current experience architecting and building reliable, scalable, and maintainable Ruby on Rails (RoR) applications
Proficiency with service-oriented architecture
Experience working with cloud services, preferably Rackspace or Google Cloud
The ability to work well with people of varying technical abilities
Attention to detail
Strong critical thinking skills
Familiarity with agile software development methodology and tooling

Education:

Degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent work experience

Requirements:

3+ years of professional engineering/development experience
Professional RoR background
Front-end development experience with technologies like JavaScript, HTML, and Sass / CSS
MySQL expertise
Full-stack background
Fluent in English
